On September 11, 2014 a gathering of men, women, and a few teenagers gathered at the Elm Fork Shotgun Sports complex in Dallas to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Collin County.  The day started with rain but that didn’t dampen the spirits of the shooters as they heard from representatives from the Boys and Girls Club and the Kiwanis Club.  After breakfast, registration, competition rules, and a safety briefing the clay pigeons began to fly!  Aside from a desire to benefit the Boys and Girls Club there were no qualifications to be met.  So by the end of the day new friendships were formed, old friendships were strengthened, lots of high fives were exchanged, and two lucky persons walked away with new rifles in their collection.
